Whether you are coping with significant challenges and are reaching out for help, or simply in need of a new clinician, I welcome working with you.
My primary goal is to support you in achieving optimal health and wellness so that you can do the things you need and want to do in life.
All new patients start care with a thorough initial evaluation.
We will discuss your concerns, history, goals and treatment preferences. We will take steps together to get to the root of your concerns so that you are able to efficiently and effectively make progress.
Integrative treatment options include:
-Medications
-Supplements (we don't sell or recommend specific brands)
-Alternative treatments
-Beneficial lifestyle changes
-Regular (weeklyish) therapy is foundational to your treatment plan. So if you are not already working with a therapist, check your insurance in-network lists and contact a therapist to get started today.
To get started , continue reading about care by reviewing the information about Medication Management next.

After your first visit, we will meet regularly to monitor the progress of your treatment plan.
While our first visit is lengthy so that we can get your care started on the right path, your subsequent visits do not have to be.
Typically we will only need to meet for a short time, but if you have concerns that may warrant a longer visit, we will have greater flexibility to do that if you need because I do not double book. Your time is for you.
Over time we will continue to refine your treatment until your symptoms have been reduced to a level that does not cause you distress and bother so that you can do the things you need and want to do in life.
You are an individual and your treatment plan will be customized specifically for you.
Initially, we will meet more often depending on your needs. As your symptoms become better controlled, we will not need to meet as often.
To compliment your care, all of my patients have access to the Womankind client portal. There you can communicate with me via HIPAA secure messaging, request refills, complete forms and assessment questionnaires, upload documents, and more.
You can even self-reschedule appointments if you need to change the time we scheduled together at the end of your previous visit.

At your regular appointments, your care will be delivered in a psychotherapeutic manner.
Therapy is typically woven in with your other treatment when appropriate.
Because medication management appointments are rarely needed weekly, this therapy is considered supplemental.
All patients, should engage in regular therapy.
Know that therapy is truly the foundation of mental health care. So, make sure you arrange for therapy for yourself.
Womankind Counseling Center has a number of clinicians that provide therapy. I highly recommend each and every one.
